Who knew accepting a position as head chef of a popular mountain resort would gain me a rugged man?

Not my intention. Not in the least.

I’d sworn off men completely, determined to make a name for myself in the culinary world. Yet Hunter Fox who was also part owner of the resort and in charge of the restaurants disagreed with every decision I made. Vehemently.

Grumpy but with the body of a chiseled God, the push and pull between us made me crazy. Somehow, the continuous banter and slanted comments led to a single night of uninhibited ecstasy. Suddenly, we couldn’t keep our hands off each other. The rough and tumble man boiled my blood and awakened something I thought long gone.

But threats began to surface aimed at the burly man and I was placed in the crosshairs of his dangerous past. Or was it mine?
